🏠The Tiles

The tiles have been a footer motif on nwalsh.com since probably not long after I photographed them. I like them and decided to add them here as well.

The tiles:

are used to construct a decorative border down the right hand edge of the page, if the window is wide enough.

I photographed the tiles on the floor of Winchester Cathedral in May, 1998. My parents lived in Winchester at the time and we did a brief wander about one warm May day when I was visiting.
